The mission of the Department of Psychiatry is to lead the effort to understand, diagnose, treat, and prevent psychiatric disorders, prepare future clinicians, provide state-of-the-art care, and give direction to community efforts to improve behavioral health.

An unrestricted gift to the department of Psychiatry at the University of Arizona College of Medicine would be directed towards the most immediate need, as determined by the department.

A restricted gift may be directed towards one of our three mission areas:

2. Care

3. Research
