July 5, 2012 - Congratulations to our faculty who were named among the Best Doctors in America and highlighted in Tucson Lifestyle magazine:
Department Head Ole J. Thienhaus, MD, remarked, "I want to highlight this accomplishment as a reminder that, when all is said and done, the base of building an outstanding clinical program in an academic setting must be the competence of the clinicians. We can all be proud to be associated with such outstanding psychiatrists."
Best Doctors has been compiling a database of top doctors for more than 20 years. It is based on a biennial peer review process and asks, "If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer them?"
