Amanda comes to us from sunny and idyllic San Diego. She attended UCLA where she studied Physiological Science. She then earned her DO at ATSU-SOMA, where she spent one year in Mesa, AZ and 3 years right here in Tucson completing her clinicals. During her time in medical school, Amanda fell in love with Tucson and was excited to make it her home for an additional 4 more years for residency. In her free time, Amanda enjoys sampling the local cuisine, participating in the cultural events in town, hiking, binge-watching Netflix and traveling to see friends. Her professional interests include psychotic disorders, suicide, and psychiatry in adolescent/young adult populations. She graduated from the UArizona COM-T Psychiatry residency program in 2021.
