Derek received his medical degree from the University of Washington and completed a B.A. in Psychology as an undergraduate at Western Washington University. His professional interests include general adult psychiatry, community psychiatry, and neuropsychiatry. In his personal time, he enjoys athletics, music, biking, and hiking.
