Interests in Psychiatry: Community Mental Health, Outpatient psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and medication management, Alternative approaches to mental health, teaching and mentoring.

General Psychiatry Resident from July 2011 until June 2015: Included Resident duties at the Veterans Hospital in Tucson, University Medical Center (Banner), South Campus Banner Hospital, the Crisis Response Center and other affiliated hospitals. These duties were inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, emergency psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and consult-liaison psychiatry. During 4th year residency, I was a chief resident with responsibilities of teaching medical students and residents and organizing call schedules.

Outpatient Community Psychiatry From July 2015-July 2018
Outpatient Psychiatry at CODAC Health, wellness and recovery working primarily with patients on disability for their mental illness

Emergency Psychiatry from July 2015- Present
Working at the Crisis Response Center in Emergency Psychiatry.

Future Interests:  Greater involvement in academia.

Skills: English is first language; Some fluency in Spanish.
