1. Understand the cognitive mechanisms that may explain as to why gratitude is associated with better psychological and physical health.
2. Understand the psycho-social mechanism that may explain as to why gratitude is associated with better psychological and physical health
3. Understand how gratitude interventions may be used to complement current treatment methods in populations with mood disorders
