Dr. Sanchez is a Clinical Assistant Professor with Banner University. He is a staff psychologist at the Banner University Early Psychosis Intervention Center. Dr. Sanchez is a graduate of the Arizona School of Professional Psychology. He has over twenty years of experience working for community mental health clinics, integrative behavioral health centers, residential treatment centers, as well as hospital settings.
Dr. Sanchez completed his predoctoral internship with the Southern Arizona Internship Consortium at La Frontera. His clinical interests include severe mental illness, psychological assessment, community health, cultural competence, substance use treatment, and supervision. Dr. Sanchez has experience providing psychotherapy intervention and psychological assessment for children, adolescents and adults.
Prior to joining the EPICENTER, Dr. Sanchez worked as a director for substance use treatment for Intermountain Centers for Human Development. He provided administrative and clinical oversight to outpatient and residential substance use programs.
