Clemens Janssen

Clemens is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Raison lab. He graduated in physical therapy, received a Master's degree in Psychoneuroimmunology and subsequently led two therapy centers before he moved to the United States. Additionally, he has been a lecturer offering talks and trainings in evolutionary nutrition and a consultant for several travel agencies offering medical wellness programs.

His interests are in evolutionary psychology and nutrition, psychophysiology and non-verbal interpersonal communication

He is currently working with Dr. Charles Raison and studying the effects of temperature interventions on mood, more specifically the effect of Whole-Body-Hyperthermia on Depression. I am also Co-PI on a pilot study about the effects of unilateral massage on the brain, as part of my minor work in Psychophysiology.
