Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds: Anti-Racism in Addiction Treatment

Anti-Racism in Addiction Treatment: A Searching and Fearless Moral Inventory

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will describe a vision of anti-racist practice in addiction treatment, while contrasting that with stories of current realities.
  2. Participants will identify and define transforming anti-racist values, in contrast to character defects.
  3. Participants will apply harm reduction anti-racism approaches to current organizational values.

The educational objective for the Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds is to provide health professionals with updates on addiction topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. The Addiction Medicine Lecture series is held monthly on a Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. Be sure to log into your CME account and complete the evaluation to receive credit.
