Incorporating Hepatitis C Treatment Education into Addiction Medicine Training

Learning Objectives:
- Understand the ease in which hepatitis C can be delivered from general medical care settings
- Identify unique opportunities and challenges to the implementation of hepatitis C treatment programs within the addiction treatment care setting
- Develop a step-by-step clinical framework to guide medical providers to deliver low barrier hepatitis C treatment to patients within the state of Arizona
The educational objective for the Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds is to provide health professionals with updates on addiction topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. The Addiction Medicine Lecture series is held monthly on a Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m.
