Stimulant Treatment for Adult ADHD: Evidence of Benefits and Harms

Learning Objectives:
- Identify considerations in enhancing specificity of making an ADHD diagnosis in adults
- Describe the evidence for benefit of treatment of adult ADHD, and the limitations of that evidence
- Outline potential harms of stimulant therapy
The educational objective for the Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds is to provide health professionals with updates on addiction topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care.
