Tobacco Use Disorder

Learning Objectives:
- Identify different tobacco products, including combustible cigarettes, smokeless products, and electronic nicotine delivery systems.
- Discuss epidemiology and health effects of tobacco products.
- Compare evidence-based behavioral and pharmacotherapy options for treatment of tobacco use disorder, including nicotine replacement products, varenicline, and bupropion.
The educational objective for the Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds is to provide health professionals with updates on addiction topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. The Addiction Medicine Lecture series is held monthly on a Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. Be sure to log into your CME account and complete the evaluation to receive credit.
