Learning Objectives

  1. Raise awareness about individual and structural risk factors impacting the mental health of physicians.
  2. Review ways to screen and support someone identified to be at risk of suicide.
  3. Examine efforts by state and national level organizations aimed at reducing stigma and enhancing help seeking by physicians..
  4. Generate solutions and a way forward to making the profession healthier for practicing physicians

The educational objective for the Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds is to provide health professionals with updates on addiction topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. The Addiction Medicine Lecture series is held monthly on a Thursday from 12 to 1 p.m. Be sure to log into your CME account and complete the evaluation to receive credit.
