Maternal and Pediatric Mental Health in Arizona

Dr. Celaya will be discussing maternal and pediatric mental health in Arizona.
Learning Objectives:
- Participants will be able to examine the prevalence of maternal and pediatric mental health disorders in Arizona
- Identify key risk factors such as socioeconomic status, geographic location, and access to healthcare
- Understand current shortages of mental health professionals in Arizona and describe the unmet need for services
The educational objective for the APAL Grand Rounds Series is to improve medical providers’ knowledge and skills in diagnosing, treating, and supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The APAL Grand Rounds Series is held monthly on a Friday from 12 to 1pm.
