Learning Objectives:

  • List the six principles of trauma-informed care
  • Utilize transparency in clinical practice to minimize re-traumatization
  • Recognize the role of historical trauma on present-day presentations

The educational objective for the APAL Grand Rounds Series is to improve medical providers’ knowledge and skills in diagnosing, treating, and supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The APAL Grand Rounds Series is held monthly on a Friday from 12 to 1pm.
