Learning Objectives:
- To gain insight into the three facilities that comprise the Arizona State Hospital and their history, patient populations, and care provision abilities
- To learn about the role of the State Hospital in treating the mentally ill within the care system of the state
- To understand the application and admission review process for potential patients of the Civil facility
The educational objective for Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. Psychiatry Grand Rounds are held on Wednesdays (September-May) from 12 to 1 p.m. Be sure to log into your CME account and complete the evaluation to receive credit.
