- Explore ways in which mind-body medicine bridges modern science with indigenous wisdom.
- Describe innovative implementation of mind-body medicine within the American Indian Youth Energy and Mental Health Balance (AYEM-B) Camp in A Box and Empowering All Relatives To Heal (EARTH) efforts.
- Review specific lessons learned regarding culturally congruent trauma-informed program development in working with American Indian communities.
The educational objective for Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care.
