Learning Objectives:
- Appreciate the unmet needs for psychiatric consultation and care in primary care and other general medical settings.
- Articulate several approaches for leveraging the skills of psychiatrists through partnerships with other health care professionals and the use of technology.
- Outline the core components of an evidence-based collaborative care model.
The educational objective of Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. Psychiatry Grand Rounds are held on Wednesdays (September-May) from 12 to 1 p.m.
