- Describe the design and outcomes of the PCORI-funded OPTIMUM study for late-life treatment resistant depression.
- Appreciate the importance of evaluating patient-centered outcomes such as well-being and safety in clinical trials.
- Understand recent advances in the use of IV ketamine for late-life treatment resistant depression.
The educational objective for Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care.
