Light Therapy: Implications for Recovery Following PTSD and mTBI

Learning objectives:          
1.  Explain why blue-wavelength light is the “active ingredient” for shifting circadian rhythms
2.  Explain how the timing of light exposure can influence sleep-wake cycles
3.  Describe evidence showing how morning blue light exposure can influence recovery from Post-traumatic stress disorder and mild traumatic brain injury
