Learning Objectives
At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  1. Review the empirical support for delivering mental health care via telehealth
  2. Discuss telehealth implementation, outcomes and lessons learned
  3. Describe patient and provider insights from experiences with video to home MH treatment
  4. Summarize the current evidence base for telemedicine group therapy and discuss any differences when compared to in-person groups
  5. Provide brief overview of the evolving regulatory, legislative, and ethical considerations related to the provision of telehealth

The educational objective for Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. Psychiatry Grand Rounds are held every Wednesday (September-May) from 12 to 1 p.m. Be sure to log into your CME account and complete the evaluation to receive credit.
