  2. Explore the research about what is known about social media’s impact on psychiatric populations
  3. Consider positive applications of social media, as well as potentially harmful ones
  4. Reframe (if necessary) these effects in the context of a global pandemic
  5. Consider how psychiatrists can use social media

  2. Discuss risk factors for dissociation
  3. Consider the impacts of dissociation on patients
  4. Provide a conceptualization for dissociation
  5. Review neural pathways involved
  6. Discuss treatment approaches to dissociation

The educational objective for Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. Psychiatry Grand Rounds are held every Wednesday (September-May) from 12 to 1 p.m.
