We are excited to share with you a patient video filmed earlier this year at BUMC Whole Health Clinic! This video will give you a glimpse of one of our member's stories and how we are providing behavioral health services to those in Tucson.
The Whole Health Clinic has been doing amazing work in our community and won the 2019 American Psychiatric Association's Silver Award for modeling how behavioral health and primary care teams can work side by side to address the whole health needs of the people it serves. The clinic is conceived, primarily, as a mental health clinic and uses population health statistics as metrics to assess its success. One trait that stands out about this team is how they understand their members, many of them have been in the same place the members are and they can connect with them by knowing what it is like to walk in their shoes.
