Ailis Dooner is from the Monterey Peninsula in California. She graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. While at Case Western Reserve University, she also earned an M.A. in Bioethics and Medical Humanities. Prior to medical school, she earned a B.A. from Columbia University in New York City. Her professional interests include child and adolescent psychiatry, consultation/liaison psychiatry, and integrative psychiatry. Her hobbies include hiking, cooking, and reading.
