Adopting a Social Model Lens Within the Medical Model Framework

- Define and differentiate between the medical and social models of disability.
- Identify areas within the medical model framework where a social model perspective can be integrated.
- Develop strategies to incorporate social model principles into medical practices, including patient care, policy development, and healthcare accessibility.
