What a Pain: Buprenorphine Analgesia for Self-Medicating with Alcohol

Learning Objectives:
- Acknowledge pattern of alcohol use to primarily self-medicate chronic pain
- Elucidate psychobiologic factors along the common pathway of pain and addiction
- Understand how buprenorphine can reduce alcohol use in prudently selected patients with AUD
