  1. To understand the development of emotion-based personality traits (e.g., trait responses to emotion) and how early life trauma and discrimination can impact personality trait development and presentation
  2. To understand the importance of recruiting and validating psychological theories in minoritized and historically underserved populations
  3. To learn about how to utilize qualitative methodology to better understand nuances observed in quantitative data
