Dr. Poleski, Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, is a licensed clinical psychologist with Banner University Medical Group. She provides mental health services primarily to adult patients at Banner University Medical Center South and assists with training and development of clinical psychology doctoral candidates and psychiatry residents. Dr. Poleski's clinical experience spans community-based and correctional settings, with her background working with individuals from early childhood through adulthood in private practice, child-focused agencies, substance abuse treatment centers, and county, state, and federal correctional environments. Dr. Poleski has extensive experience with trauma-related disorders, serious mental illness, crisis intervention, and comorbid substance use and mental health disorders. Dr. Poleski is committed to improving equity and accessibility within the mental health field, notably for underserved groups or geographic areas. Her approach is culturally sensitive and individually tailored, adapting to each patient's needs, symptom etiology and presentation, and unique background. Personal interests outside of her clinical roles include being active in animal foster and rescue, traveling, and outdoor activities.
