Championing Early Intervention in Psychosis in Challenging Times

Learning Objectives:
- Describe the fundamentals of early intervention in psychosis/coordinated specialty care models and the gaps they were designed to address.
- Articulate the contribution of EIP/CSC to improving functional outcomes, including in education and employment.
- Describe key areas of EIP/CSC in need of further structural support and development, including pathways between EIP/CSC and the legal system and adaptation for rural settings.
The educational objective of Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care. Psychiatry Grand Rounds are held on Wednesdays (September-May) from 12 to 1 p.m.
