Marianne Klugheit, MD

Associate Professor, Psychiatry

Dr. Klugheit trained in Psychiatry at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia,. PA. Her early career focused on Community Psychiatry, treating patients with serious mental illness. Dr. Klugheit became board certified in Geriatric Psychiatry in 1995. She is a Distinguished Life Fellow of APA, member of American College of Psychiatry, and Program Director of the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. Her areas of greatest interest are Delirium and the Dementias. She is currently Medical Director of the Inpatient Geropsychiatry Unit at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, as well as the Director of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Chair of the Dementia Committee at SAVAHCS.
