Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow

I was born in Macedonia before moving to Seattle, WA in my teen years.  Seattle is the place I call home, the place that taught me to admire nature and appreciate Earth.  Perhaps it is the lingering soul of Chief Seattle with his enormous love for Earth that touched mine.  I fell in love with the rain, the early morning air smelling of pinewood, the mountains, the lakes and the Puget Sound, but also the culture and diversity.  I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Psychology before setting off to Grenada, St. George’s University, for medical school.  I completed my Adult Psychiatry training in NYC and I am now headed to Tucson for a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  Being an avid admirer of nature, I am excited for the journey ahead as the mix of desert heat and monsoon rain would be a new experience for me.  In my free time, I love being with my pets as they bring me a tremendous amount of joy and happiness.  I enjoy watching crime shows and documentaries; I like to cook and try different foods; I love hiking, traveling, learning new languages, taking pictures and watching the Seahawks or Sounders play.
