Daniel studied psychology and statistics at Brigham Young University and prepared for medical school at Utah Valley University. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson, graduating with distinction in Community Service. His research interests included the human gut microbiome, cognitive assessment technology for online test-takers, and the impact of millisecond priming on memory. He also volunteered to support unstably housed and unhoused community members. Professionally, Daniel is interested in child and adolescent psychiatry and hopes to advance mental healthcare by developing fluency in a wide range of therapeutic approaches, from integrative to interventional. He enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring the world, experiencing nature, sharing meals, and savoring cinema.
