Julie Demetree, MD

Dr. Demetree trained at the Psychiatry Residency at the University of Florida. After practicing several years with the University of Florida she moved to the University of Arizona where she was the medical director of the Consult-Liaison service and the Psychiatry Residency Program Director. Currently, she practices telepsychiatry primarily seeing University of Arizona medical students, residents and fellows. She has received multiple distinguished teaching awards and is a fellow of the American College of Psychiatrists. She loves her job, and all of her previous ones, and loves to talk about psychiatry and medical training in general.
