Michael Duerden, MD

Resident/Fellow

Michael earned a B.S. in psychology from Brigham Young University-Idaho and received his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Duerden graduated from the UArizona COM-T Psychiatry residency program in 2022, and completed the Dpeartment's Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship in 2023. His professional interests include rural and underserved medicine, geriatric psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and community psychiatry. In his personal time Michael is a self-identified geek who enjoys board games and video games, audiobooks, going on outdoor adventures with his dogs, podcasts, movies and other nerdy pursuits.
