Steve was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana. After graduating high school, he attended the University of New Mexico and received Bachelors of Arts degrees in History and English. Returning to Montana, Steve earned a Master of Arts degree in teaching from the University of Providence and completed his education with a Master of Arts Degree in English from Morehead State University. He came to Tucson in 2015 with family, to enjoy the warmer weather. In addition to his work at the University of Arizona Department of Psychiatry, Steve has taught online English courses for the University of Providence for the last eleven years. He also enjoys traveling near and far, reading, golfing, and hiking. His work in fellowships has been a fun and interesting endeavor, and he looks forward to helping develop both programs.
