Taha was raised in Austin, Texas, where he earned his B.S. in petroleum engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Deciding against a career in oil and gas, Taha then attended McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas, where he received his medical degree. His professional interests include schizophrenia and general adult psychiatry. During his personal time, Taha enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
