Travis initially studied music in college with an emphasis in classical guitar, but ultimately completed his undergraduate studies at California State University, Fullerton with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He then attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences, intending to pursue psychiatry from the onset. His professional interests include psychotherapy, integrative medicine, sports psychiatry, and rural psychiatry. In his free time, he enjoys studying jazz guitar, writing and recording music, cross-training and weightlifting, reading philosophy, and spending time exploring the mountains with his wife and corgi.
