Yesenia Rios, C-TAGME

Program Coordinator, Senior

Professionally, Yesenia began her career in medical billing and coding before joining the University of Arizona’s College of Medicine in 2015. Over her ten years with the university, she gained valuable experience in administrative operations before transitioning to Graduate Medical Education in 2019. Since then, she has found great fulfillment working closely with physician residents and supporting their training journeys. Her career reflects a commitment to organization, collaboration, and student success. Yesenia takes pride in building strong professional relationships and contributing to the growth of future physicians.

Outside of her professional life, Yesenia loves to travel with her husband Pete, especially discovering local, family-owned restaurants wherever they go — usually with the help of Yelp and a sense of culinary adventure. Mother of three grown daughters, today, she proudly embraces her favorite role — grandmother to three energetic grandsons.
