Jordan Karp, MD Lead Conference Organizer
Department Chair and Professor of Psychiatry

Dr. Karp is an expert in the fields of geriatric psychiatry, depression treatment, and suicide prevention. He is committed to educating healthcare providers about the principles of psychiatry and behavioral medicine.

Joy E. Bulger Beck, MD 
Clinical Assistant Professor, Medicine

Dr. Bulger Beck is a general internist with a certification in menopause management through the North American Menopause Society. She is a primary care physician who is very interested in and concerned with caring for the mental health needs of her patients.

Mindy Fain, MD 
Professor, Medicine

Since joining the University of Arizona medical faculty in 1985, Dr. Fain has made a remarkable difference in the availability and quality of health care in Arizona, especially among the state’s burgeoning population of elderly. Dr. Fain is committed to developing and disseminating high value models of health care. 

Saira Kalia, MD 
Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry

Dr. Kalia is a perinatal psychiatrist, an educator, and serves as the Associate Training Director for the Department of Psychiatry Residency program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson and runs the Psychiatry Department’s  Perinatal Psychiatry Track. 

Jason Leubner, MD
Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine

Dr. Leubner is a family physician, geriatrician and clinical assistant professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He serves as the Executive Medical Director for the Banner University Medical Group Phoenix and Medical Director for the Family Medicine Center there. Additionally, Dr Leubner is the physician leader for Banner Health’s Primary Care Clinical Consensus Group.

Mark Liu, DO, FAAFP
Chief of Primary Care Community Clinics Service at Southern Arizona VA Health Care System

Dr. Liu is a Family Physician and the Chief of Primary Care at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System.  He is an Air Force Veteran and has served in the Department of Defense and the Veteran Health Administration for over 20 years.

Victoria Murrain, DO
Vice Dean, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Associate Professor, Family and Community Medicine

Dr. Murrain’s special areas of interest are: Diversity, Community Medicine, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Managed Care. She enjoys maternal-child healthcare provision and works closely with the rural health obstetrical program, in conjunction with the mobile health clinic. 

Jamie Weinand, MD
El Rio

Dr. Weinand works in FQHC, Primary Care, Addiction Medicine HIV/AIDS, and PrEP/PEP care.
