Mike graduated from a state university in Oregon with a degree in Anthropology/Sociology. He slogged through the University of Washington School of Medicine, being the first in his family to earn a medical degree. Mike's professional interests include Interventional Psychiatry, psychotherapy, and a budding interest in Addictions. Mike's passions include his beloved and long-suffering wife, their effervescent daughter, newly born son, and two perpetually apathetic cats. In the few moments to himself, Mike enjoys writing slightly below average short stories and poetry and watching/playing/reading/hearing stories from all over.
